Kirsty completed her BSc in Applied Psychology and Human Biology at Keele University in 2016. As part of her final year project she reviewed the genetic and environmental influences of childhood asthma. Kirsty later completed a MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience at Aston University in 2018.
Before joining the Hungry Mind Lab, Kirsty worked as a Graduate Research Assistant on the Aston Literacy Project, a longitudinal study investigating the relationship between reading ability and vocabulary knowledge in children. This is where Kirsty’s interest for cognitive development began.
At the Hungry Mind lab, Kirsty is the Research Project Coordinator for the Nuffield-funded project ‘Gene-environment interplay in early life cognitive development’.
